"The greatest disservice to our youth lies in not imparting the skills we have acquired along the way,for the grave has no use for them".- Patience Kodua
Mission Statement Provide sustainable literacy resources to nurture a life-long love of reading in children in Ghana, and offer vocational training education to school dropouts with emphasis on the 'Girl Child'.
Vision Statement Ensure all children regardless of economic status have access to reading books, and provide second chance training opportunities to youth deserving of a second chance so they can become financially self-supporting and productive members of their communities.
What we are about
The Reading Station's evolution .......Post COVID-19, The Reading Station evolved from a brick and mortar community library in one location in Accra-Ghana, to building Little Libraries which it packs with books and donates to governmental institutions that cater to children and youth within the the metropolis. Our new operational model makes our resources easily accessible to kids in more communities. Our goal is to proliferate Little Libraries across all of Ghana's ten regions.
